As more of the world is coming to terms with the psychic con that is generative AI, some of the images from Altman’s businesses are just ludicrous, almost like “well we just borrowed all the props from mediums and seances”.

Never forget that Worldcoin is the brainchild of Sam Altman. His minions are travelling to the Global South with a crystal ball, sorry orb, and asking people to look into it, with the promise of more fortune in their futures.

The Buzzfeed story is from 2022 but the Worldcoin scam is still going strong, even if their operations were suspended in Kenya, after this:

«[…] the Communications Authority of Kenya says it’s going to evaluate Worldcoin due to a “lack of clarity on the security and storage” of the iris scans it’s collecting as well as the “uncertainty” surrounding the attached cryptocurrency.
