@ansuz @h5e Agree. The internet, once lauded for removing middlemen, has managed to exacerbate the practice of middlemen. Just think of all the social media, video, etc embeds on most websites.

It's supposed to be competitive and reduce prices, and instead often just creates a hot mess of things.
