@fasterandworse Hehe, same. I think design may actually be broader the way I see it, but from the perspective of most people reading the post, I believe “design” or “designer“ is not a term that a majority identifies with. Conversely, a great many more people understand the concept of innovation. i.e. there is a broader consenus on innovation, whereas design for many people is just “how it looks”.

Explaining how I see design would take a long-form essay. 😅 I also don’t really like the word innovation, but that’s another story. My own company name includes it. 😝
