It’s no secret that the hype train ticket salespeople are pushing the narrative that everyone is late and has to stress more than ever to have a chance at their ride to the golden future that is promised at least somewhere down the line, almost definitely.

The idea seems to be to make people feel as bad and behind as they possibly can right now, because then it’s easier to sell the promise of something more appealing, even when that promise in no way can be guaranteed – and should be trusted about as much as all other efficiency-boosting activities in the 20th century that have brought us into this utopia of 2-day work weeks and so much more time to spend on the things that matter to us. Oh… wait.

Also… ”34% more efficient in 2 years”? That’s weirdly specific at the same time as it is grossly unspecific(!). Not to mention utterly unappealing.

Just based on how the hype artists are making people feel with this shrouded scaremongering it should be quite obvious how much they really care about human wellbeing.

End of rant. Sorry not sorry.
