@ProgressiveLurker I personally don't believe teaching all kids "AI" (which I take to be a marketing term that is not attached to a coherent definition or technology) will be of obvious benefit to individual and/or society. It would likely benefit specific private companies more.
As a person who learnt to code at the age of 8 in 1982 I'm fond of teaching coding – but I would not necessarily argue this is imperative for societal wellbeing in the sense that it should be compulsory for primary school. It can help in recognising grift though.
