I’ve found myself reacting and doing a double-take on some replies to messages that I get from both friends and colleagues. Are they using ”AI” to reply to me (or in group chats)? When the whole world is morphing into an uncanny valley where I no longer know who I’m talking to I really don’t feel safe anymore. I don’t straight out ask because I feel rude doing so, and I also think I’m terrified by the potential of being right.

But, are you aware of people close to you using ”AI” for wording replies to friends and colleagues?

There is also a chance I’m just over-analysing and being completely off-base, but that is its own little problem brought on by this tech.
